Terms of Service

1. Website packages

• Price. Package prices on our website are starting prices in USD. Your final price is set in a written quote before any work starts.
• Payment. Standard and Premium projects are paid 50% as a deposit before work starts and 50% before launch. Basic landing pages are paid in full upfront. Enterprise schedules are set in the proposal. We begin once the deposit or full payment has been received.
• Revisions. Each package includes the number of revision rounds listed in your quote: Basic 1, Standard 3, Premium 5, Enterprise as agreed. One revision round is one set of feedback, sent together in a single list. Counting starts when you approve the first design direction. Extra rounds and extra pages are quoted separately.
• What you provide. Your logo, the text for each page (copywriting isn't included), your photos, and access to your domain and hosting accounts. The timeline in your quote assumes we receive these, and your feedback, on time.
• Domain and hosting. You pay domain and hosting fees directly to the provider, so those accounts stay in your name. Setup and configuration are included in every package.
• After launch. For 2 weeks after launch, we fix bugs and errors at no charge: anything that doesn't work as agreed in your quote. New features, design changes, content updates and problems caused by changes made by others aren't covered. They're quoted separately or handled through the monthly design subscription.

2. Monthly design subscription

• Plans. Starter ($2,999 per month) works on one request at a time. Pro ($3,999 per month) works on two requests at a time.
• Requests. A request is a design task that one designer can complete in about one business day. Larger work is split into several requests, and we'll tell you how before we start.
• Delivery. Starter requests are delivered within 48 hours and Pro requests within 24 hours. Delivery time is counted on business days (Monday to Friday, Pacific Time, excluding US federal holidays) from when we confirm your request.
• Revisions. Each request includes two revision rounds. Further rounds, or changes outside the original request, count as a new request.
• Billing. Your subscription is billed monthly in advance and renews automatically each month at your plan's price until you cancel.
• No long-term commitment. You can cancel anytime before your next billing date by emailing hello@ctrlstudio.work. You won't be charged again, and we'll keep working on your requests until the end of the period you've paid for. We don't refund partial months.
• Ownership. You own the final designs and their editable source files once the month in which they were delivered has been paid.

3. Ownership and portfolio

Once a project has been paid in full, you own the final website design and the content we created for you.

Fonts, stock images, plugins and other third-party items remain under their own licenses. We'll tell you which ones need a paid license.

We may show finished work in our portfolio and on social media, unless you ask us in writing not to.

You confirm that you have the rights to the logos, text, images and other material you give us.

4. Confidentiality

We keep the non-public information you share with us private and use it only for your project.

5. Liability

We take care with every project, but we can't guarantee specific business results such as search rankings, traffic or sales. To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the work the claim is about.

6. Changes and governing law

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. Changes don't affect a quote or a subscription month you've already paid for.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. Any dispute will be handled in Los Angeles County, California.
